We are looking for an experienced technician or engineer with a passion to make our drones fly!
As a Drone Technician/Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of our drone technology. Your role is essential in ensuring that our drone network runs efficiently and safely, while continuously optimizing performance. You'll maintain and manage a network of drones in Norway, ensuring minimal downtime and the highest standards of service.

Your responsibilities
- Monitor and manage the operation of a network of drones, ensuring optimal performance across all systems.
- Perform and document routine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on drones and associated equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to drone hardware and software, including propulsion, navigation, and communication systems.
- Travel to field sites as necessary to support remote operations, field maintenance and deployments.
- Calibrate and test drones to ensure proper functioning.
- Collaborate with the engineering teams in St. Gallen to develop and implement upgrades or modifications to drone technology.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in drone technology, and industry trends.
Your qualifications
- Degree or certification in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, Automation, or a related technical field.
- Experience in safety critical technical assembly or maintenance, ideally in the area of aviation or UAV systems, or related technology.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting technical issues and a high quality mindset.
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus) and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work both in the lab and in the field, with regular travels required.
- Nice to have: experience with drone data analysis.

Training period: Willingness and ability to participate in a training period in Switzerland of 3 - 6 months.
