Join Meteomatics, a leading provider of high-resolution weather and climate data! We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Junior Account Executive.
As a Junior Account Executive, you will be part of our commercial team, working closely with experienced colleagues to support and expand our presence in the Norwegian market. Although located in the Norway the role will be focused on global industry verticals (Aviation, Marine, Transportation & Logistics) This is a fantastic opportunity to learn, grow, and build a career with a global leader in weather technology.
Your responsibilities
- Management of the entire sales process for a subset of the Norwegian & global Aviation, Marine, Transportation & Logistics market, supported by senior team members.
- Understand our clients needs and help them to meet their business objectives with our weather solutions.
- Presentation and advocation of our cutting-edge weather solutions, advising clients and prospective clients on technical and meteorological applications to meet the specific needs that you have identified.
- Consistently looking to build and develop pipeline enabling you to achieve set target on a quarterly and yearly basis.
- Learn about and present Meteomatics’ innovative weather solutions at regional conferences and trade fairs, gaining exposure to the industry while helping increase Meteomatics’ brand presence.
- Partner closely with internal teams (Meteodrone development, software, meteorology, and marketing) to shape our offerings and strategy, ensuring a strong market fit and scalable growth.
- Bring energy and innovation, adding to the culture of our growing global sales team
- Continuously develop your knowledge and competencies.
- Keeping our sales systems such as Hubspot & Gong updated with the latest activities and next steps. Whilst providing accurate business forecast on a regular basis.
Your qualifications
- Join Meteomatics, a leading provider of high-resolution weather and climate data! We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Junior Account Executive – Aviation & Transportation to help us develop our business in the Nordics and globally.
- Fluency in English is essential and proficiency in a Nordic language an advantage
- Technical or business related Bachelor Degree.
- A passion for learning and growing in the sales and technology space, with an interest in weather and climate data solutions.
- Having worked in the aviation industry or having an understanding of the aviation industry is considered a big plus.
- Experience in a customer-facing role (B2B), ideally with IT/Software/Data solutions.
- Confidence in communicating with clients and internal teams, with a willingness to learn from senior colleagues and take on new challenges.
- A proactive attitude with a strong desire to develop your knowledge and competencies. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- EU/EEA citizenship or a valid working permit is essential.
