Your responsibilities
- Develop, design and enhance state-of-the-art PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) for our products, including schematics, layout, and commissioning
- Develop and implement advanced test equipment and procedures to ensure the highest quality and reliability of our products
- Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to production
- Debug complex electrical systems, identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal performance
- Ensure full compliance of electrical designs with aviation regulations (e.g., EASA/FAA, DO-160, DO-254) and relevant electrical engineering standards and norms (e.g., IEC, ISO, IEEE)
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly and optimize overall drone performance
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, continuously exploring new technologies to drive innovation within the drone field
Your qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in design, development, and testing of PCBs for drones or similar applications
- Proficiency in using ECAD software and tools for PCB design (Altium Designer, Eagle, OrCAD, KiCAD,...)
- Programming skills in languages such as C/C++ would be a fantastic asset
- Knowledge of aviation regulations and relevant electrical norms and standards is nice to have
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
- Fluent in English (German is an advantage)
