Sales Manager / Business Development Manager (f/m/d)
Meteorologist/Geographer | Part or Full Time | St. Gallen, Switzerland or Berlin, Germany
We are looking for meteorologically and technically enthusiastic colleagues for our sales team!

That’s why, here at Meteomatics, we’re focused on delivering the most accurate weather data and weather intelligence tools to improve our clients’ business. We work with almost all industries, all over the world.
To strengthen our sales team in either St. Gallen or Berlin, we’re looking for a meteorologist or geographer. Enough about us, though. Let’s talk about you!
Your responsibilities
- Identification and acquisition of new customers, existing customer support with sales-related tasks
- Management of the overall sales process for new and existing customers
- Attendance of conferences and trade shows, digital and in person
- Product demos, offer preparation and contract negotiations
- Successful territory management and competition monitoring
- Provide input on product development cycles to adapt to future market needs
Your qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in natural science or comparable professional experience
- Meteorological knowledge or experience in the distribution of meteorological products is a must
- Experienced in business development for a specific region and/or industry
- Enjoy working in sales and a customer-oriented mindset
- Enthusiasm for new sales strategies and new markets
- Accurate data entry skills, good analytical abilities, Excel skills and the ability to demonstrate initiative and work with minimal supervision
- Pro-active, self-starter, great organizational skills including good time management skills
- High willingness to travel
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines under pressure
- Fluent in English, knowledge of Spanish would be an advantage
